For some veterans, returning home following their term of service doesn’t mean they can land right into a career or even a good job. That is one reason why Pestmaster Services supports veteran-owned franchise operations across the country. As a partner of the International Franchise Association, Pestmaster is one of more than 250 franchisors who offer discounts to veterans wishing to purchase a franchise through the VetFran program. Pestmaster honors veterans by offering two franchise discount programs.

We Are Part Of The VetFran Program

Military Veteran Discount – Pestmaster is able to offer new franchisees affordable financing options, including a well-deserved franchise fee discount for veterans. The initial open rate franchise fee is normally $42,500, however, for qualified military veterans, the fee is only $37,500 (a discount of 11.75 percent). To qualify as a veteran, you must be a person who served on active duty with the U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines or Coast Guard with an honorable or medical discharge.
Disabled Military Veteran Discount – We also offer a discounted franchise fee for qualified disabled veterans of $35,500 (a discount of 16.5 percent). Qualified disabled veterans must meet the same requirements as non-disabled veterans, plus have a VA-rated service-connected disability. If a veteran is severely disabled, the day-to-day management of the business may be performed by a spouse or personal caregiver.

In 2012 in the U. S., 9.1 percent of all business owners were veterans, and 10.3 percent of business owners who served in the Armed Forces owned two or more businesses.
