Consumers Call For More Integrated Pest Management In 2021
According to Allied Market Research’s Pest Control Market Outlook — 2025 report, opportunities abound in the pest control market for owners who can provide pesticide alternatives and/or pesticides with low toxicity levels. This demand spike is owed to increasing health-consciousness and consumer interest in “going green.”
To capitalize on this new demand, invest in our pest control companies for sale. Pestmaster is a leader in Integrated Pest Management, combining pesticide-free solutions (e.g. mechanical controls, biological controls) with eco-friendly products as needed, and many of our vegetation control services actively promote healthy ecosystems.
COVID-19 Creates New Opportunities In Disinfection Services
In the “new normal,” the demand for disinfection services is on the rise.
Even pre-pandemic, many industries (E.g. food services) ordered disinfection services to meet sanitation standards, but COVID-19 has greatly increased demand for disinfection in all industries, says the National Pest Management Association.

Climate Change Accelerates Demand For Pest Control Companies
According to Allied Market Research’s Pest Control Market Outlook — 2025 report, “climate change across the globe is a significant factor for upsurge in demand for pest control products and services because climate change attributes to rise in temperature.”
These claims are further borne out in research by the Climate Change journal.
While reviewing agricultural literature, researchers Chi-Chung Chen and Bruce McCarl noted that “climate change may allow pest migration or population expansions which may adversely affect agricultural productivity, profitability, and possibly even viability” (p. 475).
To quantify the corresponding demand for pest control, Chen and McCarl measured the rate of pesticide use. At the end of their report, Chen & McCarl concluded that, “under current climate change projections, pesticide usage will rise by +1.1 to 2.5% by 2040, +2.4% to 9.1% by 2070, and +2.6% to 18.3% by 2100.”
And while these numbers are promising as-is, remember: the industry is moving away from pesticides in favor of integrated pest management solutions, which means pesticide use is not fully representative of current demand growth.
